Summer is coming — are you ready to maximize it? With the weather warming and social distancing rules being relaxed, I want you all to feel your most healthy, fit and confident this summer and embrace ‘swimsuit season’ like never before. Fitness is not about having a beach body — it’s about having the energy to run around with the kids, swim in the pool, play in the back yard. If you’ve been doing my workouts you’re probably already in great shape, but there’s no better time for a fitness blitz. This 30-day program combines strength training with cardio conditioning for maximum fat burn while incorporating some sculpting workouts for toning effects.
There is unfortunately no short-cut to fitness. It requires sustained effort and commitment. This program is not easy – it involves six 50-minute workouts per week at a fairly high intensity level to shock your body and boost your metabolism. We’ve included one rest or release/stability day each week for recovery.
If weight loss is one of your goals, remember that the two main factors responsible for weight loss are calorie intake and physical activity. This program will give you two steps forward on the physical activity side, but it would be very easy for you to take three steps back if you don’t pay attention to your nutrition. So I’m also arming you with a nutrition tip per day to help with fat loss while also keeping you full of energy.
